So I suffered a broken tranny. I knew something was going wrong. The last month or 2 my trannys been kind acting up. The shift from 1st to 2nd had a nasty jerk or it sometimes revved up high before it shifted. I took it in to the dealership to get it checked and yup, broken tranny. I am getting a replacement hoepfully by weds. Good thing i have the extended warranty on my car. That would of cost me 3k+ probably for parts and labor.
I gotta say these last few days have been hella good. I pumped out a bunch of nice clean code at work (gotta test now). After a few days of procrastination I finished it and now all i gotta do is test lol.
But what makes the last few days special is the weather. Man has the weather been awesome. Some rain, which i LOVE and the gloomy weather. It makes me so clam and puts me in the right mode. I love it!!!! The only part that went wrong this week was after work on friday. I walked from my building to the parking structure. The moment I stepped outside it started raining hard, all the way to the parking lot. I was soaked by the time I got to my car. Then I reached for my keys in my pocket. Low and behold, they were no where to be found. So I walked back to my cube got my keys and went to my car. I got soaked twice =(. Funny thing is something like that would of pissed me off, but the weather and not seeing rain for so long made me smile =)
So I told myself I’d post more often but look at me now. hahhaa. Been a few weeks but I have some time to kill while I wait for a co worker to run my code in production. Nothing should go wrong, cuz we tested it pretty good, but I still have to be on call just in case. Life in sept has kind of been hectic. Loads of work and stuff, but I’m making it out.
I’ve been kind of motivating myself lately. Trying to not be that slacker I typically am. Its translating both into work and normal life as well. I’ve been working real hard at work and people know and acknowledge which really feels good. I’ve motivated myself into cutting weight finally. I’ve lost about 10 pounds in last 3-4 weeks. Slowly but its coming along. I’m cutting carbs in my die mainly during dinner. I need those carbs for my brain. I noticed when I am on a coding spree or focusing really hard on logic for code, I get really hungry. So I tend to leave carbs in for breakfast and lunch but cut almost all of it or most of it during dinner when I can. Then I’ve started shadow boxing/kick boxing routines in my lil corner of my room where I cleaned up. Then I’ve hit the bike or treadmill (depends where I am at). I do it when I’m not lazy ahhah or when I feel down. Helps me focus.
So in other new I am pissed off =(. I was suppose to go to a dodger game today. My first of the season. Most people who know me know I am a HUGE dodger fan due to the fact that my grandparents live like 1/2 a mile away or so. I grew up a dodger fan. So my dad was liek ya I got free tickets for sat and the games at 7:30. So i didn’t bother to check since I thought my dad did. What a mistake, cuz the game is at 12:55 and now I can’t go =(. We are 1/2 out of the wildcard. 15 games left! No dodger dogs, garlic fries and peanuts =( But i’ll be watching and cheering the dodgers on today =)
Lately I started watching Gigantic Formula (anime) and Hotaru no Hikari. Hotaru no Hikari is such a funny j drama series. I started watching cuz of Ayase Haruka

I just found her look very very attractive lol. It reminded me of someone and I took appeal to it. I am waiting for more of the subs to come out and I’ll finish watching it.
